Charity for the World Trade Center

Opening Friday, October 19th, 2001 from 6-8pm, Anton Kern Gallery will present I ♥ NY, a benefit group show to raise funds for the families of the victims of the World Trade Center disaster. All proceeds of the exhibition will be given to charity. The gallery will present works by: Kai Althoff, Ellen Berkenblit, John Bock, Monica Bonvicini, Angus Fairhurst, Saul Fletcher, Eberhard Havekost, Lothar Hempel, Sarah Jones, Michael Joo, Jim Lambie, Dan McCarthy, Matthew Monahan, Marcel Odenbach, Henrik Olesen, Manfred Pernice, Alessandro Pessoli, Lara Schnitger and Hiroshi Sunairi (Courtesy of Andrew Kreps Gallery).

Between October 19th and November 3rd, 2001 many artists and more than 130 galleries will make available artworks to be sold to benefit the families of the victims of the September 11th‘s disaster. !00% of the proceeds of these sales will be donated to Robin Hood Relief Fund. After the disaster of World Trade Center, they founded Robin Hood Relief Fund to ensure that the needs of lower-income victims are met both in the immediate and long term.
